This annual event is back for its 5th year here in Fernandina Beach! Travel back in time to view the center square beautifully decorated to resemble a traditional English village Dec. 13-15, and enjoy live entertainment, characters in costume, local vendors selling seasonal gifts, a window-decorating contest and even a visit from Ol’ Saint Nick himself!

S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship
Nothing says the holidays quite like sweet, seasonal treats. So why not celebrate the season by taking a visit to view the world’s largest gingerbread pirate ship? Located in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton in downtown Fernandina, the S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship will be on display through December 29. Stop by and see this delicious beauty in all it’s glory – just be sure not to come too hungry, because this is one cookie that is a feast for the eyes, not the tummy.

Ugly Holiday Sweater Cocktail Crawl
Hosted by Amelia Island Tasting Tours, this year’s Ugly Holiday Sweater Cocktail Crawl will be held on December 20. This festive event is a two hour long guided walking tour throughout downtown Fernandina, where guests will enjoy stops at local bars and delicious cocktail tastings. Grab your ugliest sweater, and leave the kids at home – this event is 21 and up.
How the Big Band Stole Christmas
How the Big Band Stole Christmas is back for its 5th year, and will take place at Fernandina Beach Middle School on December 20. This annual holiday performance features over 25 performing artists, including singers, actors and musicians – and even a few surprises! This is a family-friendly favorite.
