The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass has been one of the PGA Tour’s most coveted titles annually since 1974, where it all began with the historic Jack Nickalaus’ victory over J.C. Snead. The Players takes place every May in Ponte Vedra Beach, just next door to our newest location in Nocatee Town Center

Some of the most popular TPC Sawgrass memories include Tiger Woods’ “Better Than Most” putt, and Jerry Pate’s tossing Pete Dye into the lake on the 18th hole. But the most constantly famous part of TPC is the iconic Island green on Hole 17. It’s commonly known as the sudden-death playoff hole, and can be a quick decider on who's in or out. NBC Sports has even devoted 11 cameras to the 17th hole, including two water cameras that can turn 360 degrees.

Some golfing professionals who will be at The Players Championship this year includes eight-time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas, four time PGA Tour winner Billy Horschel, Patrick Reed, Rickie Fowler and 11-time Tour winner Jordan Spieth. Patrick Reed is making his fifth appearance at The Players this year, and if he wins, he will join Tiger Woods as the only two players to win a major, a World Golf Championship and The Players before turning 28 years old.

But the best part about the TPC? We are right next door! Don't forget to order online for quick service, or stop by and enjoy our on-tap cocktails and fresh, wild-caught seafood.
