This year for Labor Day, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp minor league baseball is hosting an all-you-can-eat picnic for their season finale game. The event takes place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and each reservation is just $15. This event is perfect for a daytime outing with family and friends. 2. Hot Potato Comedy Hour

Come share a laugh with Jacksonville’s best comedy open mic night, featuring the hilarious NYC comedian Dan Lamorte! This event takes place in the back room at Rain Dogs and begins at 9:30 p.m.

3. Turtle Trot

Trying to stay in shape this Labor Day? Say no more. Grab a friend and enjoy beautiful Florida morning skies while jogging on the beach. On Monday, September 3rd, the city of Fernandina beach is hosting its annual Turtle Trot, a running event that takes place entirely on the beach. 4. Labor Day Weekend at Main Event Entertainment
