Karibo Adds Vegan & Omnivore Options for Jacksonville’s 5 Points Neighborhood

5 Points Jacksonville is a beloved and eclectic mix of boutique shops, restaurants and artistic bar scenes. The historic Sun Ray Cinema showcases indie and alternative films, while antique shops add to the character of the neighborhood. Timoti’s 5 Points has been offering Jacksonville wild-caught seafood within its main street location for several years now, allowing the locals to get to know some of our favorite dishes like lobster rolls and tuna poke bowls. Along with local love, Timoti’s has been able to get a feel of what our neighbors are craving, and decided to evolve into our customer’s tastes – while still staying true to Timoti’s favorites.

Enter Café Karibo, Timoti’s sister restaurant. Located next door to the original Timoti’s in Fernandina Beach, Café Karibo is owned by the same family, and is another local favorite on Amelia Island. Karibo prides itself on eclectic, creative dining, boasting delicious home-cooked items like hand-made veggie burgers that put frozen patties to shame, portobello sandwiches that melt in your mouth and tropical chicken sandwiches that explode with flavor.

What evolved was Karibo 5 Points – the best of Timoti’s favorites, combined with more plant and omnivore-based options to round out an eclectic and delicious menu. Gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, omnivorian options abound, and we invite you to give us a try yourself.

Karibo offers outdoor and indoor seating, framed by light and airy plants for a green, fast-casual escape. To-go and online ordering are available, with restaurant health and safety at front of mind. All employees wear masks, and are happy to answer any questions you may have about our newly evolved menu. While you’re here, check out our brand new mural and mosaic art created by a local artist, which reflects the mix of flavor we are proud to bring to the Timoti’s table. We call it Floridian food - healthful, fresh, and eclectic. Plant-based eaters and omnivores alike will find a delightful culinary experience that we think is right at home here in Jax. We are still a family owned business with the same managers and crew that made Timoti’s Seafood Shak a neighborhood favorite.
