Dog Friendly Activities in Amelia Island

When your dog is part of your family, it’s hard to leave them at home. But when you go to Timoti’s for our fresh seafood, you don’t have to! With a brick patio and outdoor seating, there’s space for all of your friends and family members, even the furry ones. And once you’ve filled up on fish sandwiches and shrimp po’boys, you can bring your pup to these other local, dog-friendly places so that you can spend the whole day with them!

Amelia River Cruises and Charters

An iconic Jacksonville attraction for 15 years, Amelia River Cruises and Charters offers historical and sight-seeing tours along the St. Johns River. And all well-behaved dogs are welcome! Take your pick from five cruise and charter options: Cumberland Island Tour, Beach Creek Tour, Adult Twilight BYOB Tour, Family-Friendly Sunset Tour, and Shrimping Eco Tour. Your furry friend will certainly enjoy all that the sights and sounds have to offer!

Kayak Amelia

Want to enjoy the great outdoors with your sweet pup? Kayak Amelia offers eco-tours, self-guided sessions, paddleboarding, and even outdoor yoga that your pooch can join in on.

In fact, Kayak Amelia even has two of their own canine mascots: Bayleigh and Duncan, wire-haired pointing griffons that love to meet new friends!

Red Bones Dog Bakery and Boutique

Redbones Gourmet and Dog Bakery and Boutique is the only gourmet dog bakery in Northeast Florida. If you’re in Amelia Island, this is the place to treat your dog!

With free samples of their fresh-baked, all-natural goodies, leashes, collars, beds, and weekly adoptions in the “barking lot” (so you can grow your furry family), Redbones will totally pamper your pup!

Nassau Humane Society Dog Park

Let your dog run wild and free at this 1.3-acre dog park! This park has it all: a doggie pool (in the shape of a dog bone!), a training and agility yard, four bathing stations, and a play area for smaller dogs and puppies. You can purchase a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual membership, with all proceeds benefitting the Nassau Humane Society.

Timoti’s Seafood Shak

Be sure to stop by one of Timoti’s Seafood Shak dog-friendly locations in Nocatee or Fernandina Beach for tail-wagging good time! Both of these locations have dining options available outdoors where pups are welcome!
