Jacksonville Celebrates the 4th of July

Jacksonville 4th of July

Celebrate 4th of July the Timoti’s Way

Florida's summer heat is here, and with that the fun and festive 4th of July week. For many people in America this means grilling out, dining out and a cold beer or two accompanied by fireworks. Spending quality time with family or friends is important, which is why we are open at our Nocatee and Fernandina locations throughout the 4th to serve you authentic, wild-caught, family-friendly seafood. Cool down with a Timotis ice cold cocktails on draft at Nocatee before heading to see fireworks, or hop into our original location as you meander the historic downtown streets in Fernandina Beach.

However you like to do it, we have a few ideas at hand to check out a few top favorite 4th activities in the greater Jacksonville area this year.

1. Fernandina Beach Fireworks Cruise

Fernandina Beach is hosting a variety of fireworks cruises for adults and families. Adults can attend the Twilight Fireworks BYOB Cruise, or bring the kids along for the Family Friendly Fireworks Sunset Cruise. Relax on the boat with local musicians and learn about the history of Amelia Island. For more information on this event and to make reservations, click here.

2. Nocatee’s Splash Waterpark Celebration

Nocatee is hosting its annual Fourth of July day party inside Splash Waterpark. This event is a blast for all ages and will have plenty of activities for everyone. There will be live music provided by the J Crew Band, along with yard games, Food Trucks, and a wide selection of drinks from the bar. Cruise down the twisting Top Tide Slides or drift away on the Lazy Tides River. This event is open for all Nocatee residents and will take place from 11:00am-4:00pm.

3. Fernandina Beach “Hometown All-American 4thof July Celebration”

This family-friendly old-fashioned celebration is going to be a blast for anyone. The “Hometown-All-American 4thof July Celebration” takes place on Centre Street in Downtown Fernandina Beach. Centre street will be filled with musicians, performers, floats, and more for everyone’s entertainment. The night ends with a colorful bang with fireworks over the riverfront. 4. Fireworks at Jacksonville Beach Pier

What better place is there to watch fireworks from besides with your toes in the sand? Bring chairs and a blanket to Jacksonville Beach for the annual fireworks show. Fireworks are set off at the Fishing Pier and can be seen from any point on the beach. Make it a family date and enjoy dinner at Timoti's before heading over to watch the show. No 4th of July is complete without great food, drinks and company. Make your holiday awesome this year by stopping in for Timoti's delicious seafood before heading to one of these fun activities.
