A Fernandina Tradition

Timoti’s stems from Fernandina Beach where many inlets and marshes nurture the contemporary shrimp industry. Harvesting shrimp has been a tradition for over a hundred years, starting in 1913 when visiting fisherman Billy Corkum invented the Otter Trawl net. Today, the harvesting technique is practiced in the same manner flourishing the Eight Flags Island.
