How the Northeast Florida Community is Coming Together

We don’t think anyone would disagree with us when we say that healthcare workers are truly heroes! We at Timoti’s want to express our sincerest gratitude to all medical professionals and first responders, both in Northeast Florida and beyond, for your incredibly important work during these times. We’re here to support you in any way we can.

Free Meals for Healthcare Workers from First Port City Bank

To help express their gratitude, our friends at First Port City Bank purchased a $500 tab at our Fernandina Beach location for medical field workers. With this generous donation, we’ve been able to offer these hardworking professionals a well-deserved, nutritious meal.

We’re so grateful for this amazing contribution, and we’re proud to be part of a community that supports its healthcare workers. Amelia Island restaurant Cafe Karibo partnered with both Hendry Electric and First Port City Bank to offer two $1,200 tabs so those working in the healthcare industry could enjoy a free meal. The restaurant is also offering an ongoing 50 percent off for all medical workers, police, firefighters, and members of the armed forces as a way of saying thank you.

From Orange Park Mall, which donated Easter gifts to hospital staff to share with their children, to Growers Alliance in Saint Augustine providing free coffee to frontline workers, countless local Northeast Florida businesses are coming together to help support those who need it most.

We’re firm believers that food brings people together. Our Fernandina Beach and Nocatee locations are still open for online ordering, so you and your family can enjoy wild-caught seafood whenever the craving strikes. Not close to your loved ones right now? Try sending them a gift card, which can be enjoyed now or represent the promise of a delicious meal together later. Plus, it’s a great way to support local businesses that might be struggling in these times.

More than ever, it’s important that we let our friends and family know how much we care. To everyone helping keep us safe and healthy, thank you. Stay safe!
